Library and campus resources

Al-Bukhari library at UiTM Jengka is one of the campus resources. The library full of thousands of books for students to get information and detail for their study. Furthermore, the library has many useful facilities for students and staff usage such as computer lab that already install with wifi network, separate zone, café, counters and many more. There are three zone that have been separated in the library which are relax zone, quiet zone and silence zone. These zones are make for students and others comfortable. All the books in the library is neatly arrange.
Types of resources
There are three type of campus resources that you need to know when you live in campus. This resources are important for your everyday life. These are some example at my college which is UiTM Jengka.

10 things must know about Al-Bukhari library
- Operation time
Library start to unlock the glass door at 7 o’clock in the morning and close at 5 o’clock in the evening after office hour. In the exam week, the library open until night for students to study in a peaceful place.
- Loan and books return
After students decide a book that they want to loan for finish their assignment or want to read it for leisure time, they can go to the counter opposite of the entrance.
- Steps to loan and return books
- Fine
When students not return the books on time, they need to pay fine to the staff at the library. The cost only RM 0.20 for each day. The longer students late to return the books, the higher the price increase.
- Lost book
When students accidentally lost their book, they need to inform to the library that the book they loan have gone missing. So, the library will stop the fine that has been charged if students late to return book. The library give 14 days to find the lost book or the students need to pay the price of the book.
- Loan between library
Al-Bukhari library can help the students to loan other books from another library. Students need to pay for the delivery to the library and the price is affordable. Students need to wait a week for the books to arrive. This way, students do not have to buy the books outside because one book can cost hundreds of Ringgit Malaysia.
- Use of IT lab
Students needs to place their matrix card at the counter outside the IT lab. This easily tells the staff and other students that the computer is in use. Every one hour, the students need to renew their verification at the entrance.
- Zones
The library was separated with 3 zones that give students feel comfortable when they go or study in the library. The first one is relax zone. This zone is suitable for students to make study group or make a discussion. The second zone is quite zone. This zone for students who want to make and finish their assignment. The last one is the silence zone. This zone is for student who need to focus and concentrate on their reading or study. No sound such as keyboard typing, notification and many more are allowed at this zone.
