What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism is a action of taking someone else's works or ideas and declare as their own work. For example a person that make plagiarism copy another person assignment, ideas or product and said as their own work.
we need to avoid plagiarism because this action is totally wrong and illegal. People who make plagiarism easily success in their grades and works cause the productivity of the students decrease.
How to prevent plagiarism?
There are some ways to manage and avoid plagiarism when making assignment or ideas. One of the ways is paraphrasing the word that we use in the books or other references. Paraphrasing is express the meaning using different words to achieve greater clarity and easily understand by other people.
l We can reword the sentences using other vocabulary by using synonym. The word need to be different but same meaning as the word. When reword back the word, you need to be careful not to change the meaning of the sentences. Furthermore,we can use rearranged the sentences from passive to active or conversely, from active sentences to passive sentences. After finish all the sentences, we need to recheck the sentences. Make sure there are no grammatical error or different meaning from the references.
Calculate GPA and CGPA
GPA
GPA is grade point average refers to calculated as the total number of grade points receives over a given period divided by the total number of credits hour. The scale of GPA is 0.00 to 4.00.
CGPA
CGPA is cumulative grade point average refers to overall GPA included dividing the number of quality point earns in all courses attempted by the total credits hour in all attempted courses.
ICGPA
ICGPA is integrated cumulative grade point average also known as spiderweb. ICGPA consist of eight domains which are :-
l Knowledge
l Practical skill
l Communication
l Social skill
l Active values
l Intrapreneurship
l Problem solving
l Information
GPA = Total credit value for one semester
Credit hours
CGPA = Total credit value for all semester
